Hi Alex….odd that it is not here anymore, what Dave wrote. At that time he was a moderator / expert or whatever they all all those guys listed at the top of the forum….at the time. I dont see him listed anymore.

It was 11 yrs ago i asked this. and an earlier version of AE perhaps

I have no idea what he said now. I hope you figure it out. maybe it was delete the preference file? or open the project holding down the shift key….or some such thing?

Michael….so sweet of you to reply.

I have not tried yet. My computer died and I need to install the latest ae in my new Computer, but have not bought the new AE yet, nor done it.

I wanted to be prepared for what is to come…smile?

Your answer implies that maybe there is no issue.?

or…..it is so old cs5.5, that no one has even mentioned the need to do such a thing in years?

    Warmly,

    Hope

September 25, 2020 at 10:20 pm in reply to: Image in AE viewport looks better than final rendering.

Make a new comp and try rendering from that comp, just that one item and see how it is?

    sometimes things happen….

you are using an HD comp and it looks good before render. I have had that happen too.
what is UHD – user HD?

and Eric, what are you suggesting…if he does have eps, pdf, psd/ai, what are you all suggesting if it is one of those? to open it in PSD, then make sure looks took there? then he will be safe? What do you think?

I still don’t understand why corner pin wouldn’t work for you.

You could super-easily make an animated texture underneath his feet with it.”

Michael, if he used the corner pin and added an animated texture then he would have to just mask out the still image of the feet, right?

  • ok, so you just drag them in and the anchor point makes it go to that place…nice…

oh, because you have snapping enabled…ok…smart, thank you.
