I’m guessing it’s probably Trapcode Shine(trapcode.com) and Fractal Noise mixed together.

Yes, thanks a lot for your comment and I must agree with you. But some of the “lack of contrast” comes because of my “lack of knowledge” of codecs. I’m using Sorenson 4.0 but I’m not getting it right I think. Like where the spotlights are on the stage, they get all noisy and grainy, it looks much better when it’s in best quality. I’ve tried a lot, those spotlights are made with Trapcode Lux, and I can’t seem to make them compress without getting grainy, and thus, making the overall picture bad.

But anyhow thanks for the comment, and I have to agree on you with the technical over concept. I would like more money next time I do something, $1000 run very short.

The Foundry (https://www.thefoundry.co.uk/) develops Keylight and it has shipped with After Effects Professional Edition since v. 6.0. If you have either 6.0 or 6.5 you can find the installation for it on the CD.

Go to Effects > Stylize > Leave Color

You can also use Image Control > Colorama.

  • Well, sometimes and sometimes not, I use it with After Effects sometimes, but it doesn’t make a difference, the problem persists even if I close AE and only run Premiere.

“Is your Project Preset DV- NTSC? Is the Capture Format (Project settings) DV/IEEE 1394 capture? ”

Yes, that is the Capture Format, and my preset is DV-Pal (located in Europe, so)

Still haven’t found a solution… But badly need.

  • And as I said, the Computer itself hasn’t got any problem finding the camera once I plug it in the FireWire, and After Effects also finds it. But it seems as Premiere doesn’t.

  • Thanks, but I’ve done that already…
