Now that I know the answer of this question I realize what helpful or not could be a middle therm answer! Why does not give him the detailed answer to make him go over this, Aanarav, like Laurie did but more detailed??
Seems that a competence who make the most short answer is on the way… a behavior long time observed.
This is the only forum that I know who could help others to get sucess out of Premiere… despite all expensive tutorials around……………..

Its not my intention to offend anyone… just get in mind of the savy’s that sometimes a more detailed help is needded.

Could a new DVD player work with the broadcast station? What kind of play problems?

I’m not an expert but I think if you select “automatic transcoding” the program chosse the optimal encoding setting to full-fill the disc.
(project>properties palette or expand project window to see the encoding setting)

Just cut the clip to your length where you want to start the effect (C or shift K)and make the change you want.

Ripple could be not available if you also don’t select the audio together when cutting. This is to avoid unsync remaining A/V tracks. So be sure you have unlock the A/V you want to cut and in the Timeline extreme left see if are darker too.
To delete the clip just select it and hit X (don’t remember if I customized my keybooard to do this)
    Hope this help you

Probably is not on board video card. Could be nvidia FX 5200. (I have a HP media Center too)
the steps are a little complicate to said by mind but will try:
Right click window desktop>advance. look for your video card. Look for “clone” and select it. have 15 seconds to accept the changes: do it
Also in premiere you have to select in the monitor small top arrow> go to the button of the new screen> select it and select 3D… excuse me but is all I can remember w/o watching my PC.
If you did ok You will have a your currently monitor and your TV to watch the video running
