    ADVC 100 since 2003 and use footage in Vegas all of the time. Works great and I use it to output to a TV via firewire.

    Check your Sony Preferences and make sure you have the boxes checked to get email. I always get an email but I do notice many people do not.

    Just do a search on the web and you will find what you need.
    I did “sony vegas green screen” and found stuff right away.

    I had zero problems but I loaded Cinescore after I loaded Vegas 7. I then downloaded the Excalibur update for Vegas 7.

    Did you change any of the media files after you had already added them in a previous session? In other words you created your project and later went back in and made changes.

    If you have the camera on a tripod locked down solid you should be able to do a simple version of it. If there are other people in the scene they have to stay completely still. The person running or moving fast does their thing as you film it. Then once in Vegas you ghost the image. Apply speed as needed. Everything that is still will not blur and anything moving will. You should be able to apply FX to the film to improve the look. The sound effects are the most important thing to remember!!

    Ed,
    I have tried the Luminance Mask but the effect cannot be seen no matter how I move the sliders. Once I adjust the clip and remove the white background the effect is also gone.
