Since Vista is a many-headed monster I’d like to avoid for a year or two, any chance Sony will release Vegas 64bit for XP 64bit?

OK, but that doesn’t really answer my question 🙂

It should run on 64bit. I told the Sony guy when I was requesting to beta the new system that I was running 64bit already on a two AMD dual core system. He didn’t say I’d have to upgrade to Vista — only that I would have to upgrade to 8. Does that help?

Thx for the info. Now I just have to grab 64bit XP before Microsoft stops supporting it.
