Both solutions don’t work. I’ve just checked it. I know there’s a filter for this in Final Cut.

    Mike,

I bought Plural Eyes and it’s not perfect. For example when you film from the distance and there is big noise near the camera (or the camera doesn’t “hear” the actor because it’s behind the glass), Plural Eyes is useless. SMPTE is the solution.

Plural Eyes is efficient if you produce in a quiet studio in one room.

    John,

below is the snapshot of footage I am talking about. Horizontal lines (stairs) in the background are interfering causing pixel-like effect. I had to exchange this take because technical checking at tv channel rejected this.

I know there is a specially dedicated filter for this, at least for Final Cut.

    thanks

Maybe I used a wrong word for this. When you film a surface/texture of an object that has lines very close one by one, you get this effect. They start to pixelate and interfere wich one another.

So, what options during rendering should I choose? MOV -> video format -> configure? If I choose this, I get only H261 and H263. Maybe I just dont know how to do it?

    Frederic,

so what is the maximum GPU load you get when working with Vegas?

    Hello Frederic,

I just bought NVidia GTX470 and have similar issues to yours. Have you forced CUDA to work well with Sony Vegas?

    best

Can it join media files (for ex. mpegs) without resampling?

Strange thing. When previewing clips with BCC effects my GPU load shows 5%. When previewing clips without any effects/filters, GPU load reaches 8%.

Does it mean GPU is always used for playback in Vegas? Even if you don’t use BCC plugins?

    I got 10c version.
