OK, but what with LCD TV sets? They are also capable of processing interlaced signal and are not CRT based? These days we don’t own CRTs, they are rather at waste dumps. I would like to see 50 half frames on my LCD. Is there any way I can do it on a LCD monitor?

But is there any way not to deinterlace and just watch 50 half frames? Like in TV? This shouldn’t be a hard task for the computer, just to show 50 frames, upper and lower field in sequence.

Now most of tv sets ain’t CRT, but LCD, so it should be a problem?

But is there any other DSLR alternative that can do it? I am producing documentary series for broadcast but my tv station accepts only 50i material. I don’t know to use big cameras as the production conditions are not very good.

Sometimes I use different footage from different source in one projects. Resampling should be disabled long time ago by Sony. It’s strange they haven’t done it.

Nice.. Do I need timecode generators connected all the time to each camera (Canon 5D) that will send TC signals to the audio tracks?
