disabling resample
Posted by Grzegorz Kwiatkowski on November 9, 2011 at 7:59 amIs there any way to ‘disample resample’ on all clips by default? Smart resample is a very annoying feature that causes ghosting. Anyway, what is smart resample for? When is it useful?

November 9, 2011 at 3:09 pmAre you sure you are not experiencing an interlacing issue? Check your deinterlace method under project properties. If you are delivering to DVD, it should be set to blend or interpolate.
My system specs: Intel i7 970, 12GB RAM, ASUS P6T, Vegas Pro 10e (x32/x64), Windows 7 x64 Ultimate, Vegas Production Assistant 1.0, VASST Ultimate S Pro 4.1, Neat Video Pro 2.6

November 9, 2011 at 5:21 pmThe interlacing effects. Is there a recommendation what should be used if there is some slow moving action intermixed with some fast moving action ?

November 9, 2011 at 5:54 pmGrzegorz, be sure your project settings match your source footage because the resampling can also have this behavior if the project is not correct.

November 14, 2011 at 10:38 pmSometimes I use different footage from different source in one projects. Resampling should be disabled long time ago by Sony. It’s strange they haven’t done it.
