  • The jobs of those big bosses is to predict and adhere to and/or lead the viewers you speak of. They are watching a todal wave and don’t know how to surf. As sponsors pull, they don’t even counter with web solutions for them. They just kind of shrug as if they don’t know where the ratings are going.
This is not unlike GM pretending they don’t know why another 30mpg fugly car doesn’t sell like hotcakes.
    Competing comes to mind.

They’ve evolved waay to slow to keep this from happeneing. Same with the other broadcasters. If you talk to many who work for these networks laying folks off, they’ll try to tell you how ratings are up.
    ???
    yeah… for youtube. lol

The problem is in th eold school mentality of the big wigs still in charge who can’t so much as operate a mouse. New blood would do em good but new blood seldom seeks a sinking ship.

Just the Avid’s monitor for now. The deal I’ve made myself is as soon as I’ve booked 5 days straight, I’ll get a nice flat screen for the wall. There just isn’t anymore desktop space to be had.
I fly by my scopes and the client gets the broadcast monitor for now.

I think you may be confused about what acceleration does. It won’t speed up your animation, it makes the keyframes smoother transitions from one to the other. To speed up your animation you’ll need to slide some keyframes (alt drag) or shorten the clip the effect is applied to.

What do you mean by nothing happens?
Are you saying the slider doesn’t move or it doesn’t change the curve to S linear?

    In best case scenerios.
Congrats! Have fun. Throw some shots in AE and scale em and reposition em a bit. The DVE is Avid will tear the image up too much. You can fake zooms from one position to another not unlike the music video example in the thread below. If you have sapphire effects you can add a ittle motion blut to really help these transitions out. Otherwise a BCC glow will do fine as filler over the quick transition.
You can feather in different baclgrounds using animatte if these were not shot over a keyable source.
Music and sound effects will bring all together.

Hook the mojo back up and grab the DVcam footage through it. You won’t be able to monitor the HDV footage through it but you’ll be able to get it all online this way.

    Watch it.
I can never sit on aproject that long but anytime I need to step back and look at it objectivly, I do just that. Play it from the top and pretend I know nothing about it.
