Are you saying the slider doesn’t move or it doesn’t change the curve to S linear?

February 21, 2010 at 9:20 pmWhat i mean is that, it doesnt change the curve. When i go to the effect editor and try to apply the acceleration effect. To speed up my animation, it doesn’t work.Every other effect in the effect editior works except for that one. I dont no what it is…..Do you have any suggestions?

February 21, 2010 at 11:10 pmI think you may be confused about what acceleration does. It won’t speed up your animation, it makes the keyframes smoother transitions from one to the other. To speed up your animation you’ll need to slide some keyframes (alt drag) or shorten the clip the effect is applied to.

February 22, 2010 at 11:00 pmThanks for the information. But i have a question to ask you. Im new to avid, only had it a couple of months.I see the learning curve is deep. Will you explain to me how i go about doing that. step by step.See what im trying to do is. I have an 3d animated effect on my time line that im trying to speed up.I have the clip in slow motion, but im trying to speed it up a little bit. To my satisfaction. I would appreciate it if you can assist me in anyway.
