There is a little doodad on the bottom of the timeline. You can drag it back and forth and zoom in on the entire timeline.

If memory serves, you can remap the previous and next edit keys and they won’t enter trim mode anymore. I have no idea why it defaults to this. It may also be an option in your edit settings. It’s been a while.
I don’t know of a keyboard key you can map to expand the tracks. I’ce always held down control and dragged em.

I hear ya.
thats just one clip. It’s meant to be static because I get busted doin 144mph on the way home. Just had the camera on a tripod.
All the other clips are cut to music or on natural beats.
Irinicly, with all the production value I put into all the other segments, that very one has 10 times more views than all the others put together. Pecking at a million now.
Just goes to show that content still rules, no matter what.

I hate to admit it but I use BCC glows in dang near every sequence.
The bogus render does’nt always happen on that effect. Are you saying with yours it does happen on that effect every time or on any effect with the bcc glow on that sequence?
Here. it tends to happen when I have effects stacked… but often that stack does include the glow.
I will switch to only sapphire glows for a while and report back.

… on that. Have you noticed that sapphire glows will alter you video levels? They clip em where bcc glows don’t. Also, I like how the bcc glows saturate the colors… not just white or a sigle color ya desinate.

when your head is all wrapped up deep in a project, it can be hrd to stap back and see the onvious sometimes. Happens to all of us, man.
They call it “too close to the project”.

I use alot of BCC glows and I use alot of time warps. I’m thinkin timewarp may be the candidate although I dont rule out bcc.

your just wanting the movie, not the project, right?
Spitting it out to Dv and recapturing it bia firewire is the quickest and easist, imo.
A quicktime will work fine too. The animation codec at best settings is generic and will work but it’s not a clone, like dv would be.

first, try closing the bin your sequence is in and reopening it.
then, try ditching your user settings and recreating them.
I wish I could help you hone in on th cause of this. There are still just too many bugs to nail down.

that works for me as far as getting it to actual render after that but it doesn’t pen back upas renderd. I have to wait for another phat render.
This is why I was wondering if it was written. I feel like it is. It goes though the motions and makes the client wait and all and I do believe the buggyness now in media tool revolves around these files.
Ever notice how after this starts happeneing, thats when media tool stops showing files you know exist?
