you should just stick tou your hourly rate. The more they add for you to do, the more ya make. If you did the layout for a flat fee, just renegotiate as they add tasks not negotiated.

I suggest swapping out with some mucic ya pay for. You can have garage bands bust out some original stuff without breaking the bank and libraries like dewolfe are pretty awesome in that they will work with you on a blanket deal for your whole project rather than charging you per needledrop.
Unless you are gonna have massive gains from these DVDs, I see some recuttin’ in your future.

It’s not illagal to be a poser. It’ illegal to push that red button on protected material.

if they wanna a little epk to get gigs with, you can easily roll some footage on a couple of their gigs. Now, you are just stitching together some footage of them and the ambience is that of what THEY provided. I don’t see a green screen being the make or break in their ability to score some gigs.

unless I am misunderstanding, you can select 16X9 in your export settings.

if you are needing a seacrh by keyword feature, your making things hard on yourself, media-management-wise.
If you create a bin for each kind of clip, you can usually have all of your clips visible within a project… not even so much as a scroll needed. I make one for my sequences, one for my grafiks, one for audio, one for b-roll, talkin heads, ect. Always keeping things in list mode, I can see all clips all the time, creating a new bin should that one start requiring scrolling. I find this keeps all of my recipe on the table in easy view as I cook.
…and this will end your need for keyword searches.
