    Capture 4 channels audio of HDV

    hello
    have 8-9 tapes of HDV where the clean interview audio is recorded on channel 3. Am digitizing through SDI from the HVR -1500 deck. Can also dig via firewire, an HDV signal directly, but still no luck. AVID only sees channel 1 and 2. Ingest format doesn’t matter, can be DV or HDV as long as i can get all 4 channels or just channel 3 and 4 in. have tried multiple ways to capture, but cant get the third audio channel in.

    Any ideas on how i can get the 4 channels, either onto another format or straight into AVID.

    feed a deck (not the camera) to a mixer.
