  • “open clip in browser”:
You can insert a gap at the beginning of the video clip (Alt-W?) and then move the sound ‘backwards’.

Sounds like a connection error to the externally stored Libraries or
the render files/optimized files are corrupted.

Delete the render files/optimized files and
    check your cables/connections.

    Hope this helps.

    The quote I liked most:

‘Many people immediately reject the Magnetic Timeline because they just can’t get used to the idea of it after working with track-based NLE’s. At first I felt the same way. It definitely takes a couple weeks to get used to, but I can’t explain how freeing it is not to have to worry about keeping 16 or more tracks of audio in sync whenever you insert new material into a timeline. This shifts focus away from the technical side of using a NLE and allows you to spend more of your brainpower on storytelling. In the end, that is bound to result in better work.’

  • It depends on the material, every recording needs a different treatment.
Can you send me a short clip, I will try what I can do.

    Cheers, Greg

[Herb Sevush] “Not as rare as having some of the people on this forum admit that Apple made a mistake. For that we will have to wait for … nope, couldn’t come up with anything that qualifies.”

    LOL ☺

While funny: they had a clear vision in mind with this 2-gfx-card concept. They even built a framework for apps to use multiple cards. That the software wasn’t moving in this direction they couldn’t know. Also you should appreciate the wish for silent operation in a pro machine…. (you can read about it in the Gruber link)

They made a bet, they failed, now they had to start over…… it happens…..
