Hello! I have a scene that is very dark. I am really not able to reshoot. It’s an interior scene. Also is there another program that lightens video – better than FCP X?

I also have a scene that is very shaky.. I tried the stabilization and the video looks a little funny. IS there anything else I can do?
is there another program that stabilizes video – better than FCP X.?

    thank you.

You might get a slightly better result correcting the footage in Resolve but it’s not a straightforward question. What you might do to brighten the image depends on how underexposed it is, what codec was used, what’s going wrong when you do brighten it, what does it have to match to, etc.

For stabilisation it’s the same thing – plugins like Coremelt’s Lock & Load get rave reviews and After Effects has some great stabilisation tools but what do you mean by the result being ‘funny’?. How successfully footage can be stabilised will depend on how much and what sort of motion your’re trying to fix and how much resolution you have to play with.

I just tried Prodad Mercalli, wich in in beta now but sometimes is far superior to the built in tracker.
My clip has lots of smoke but I got stellar results:

    Hope this helps.
