Awesome! Thanks. Very nice list of updates. The biggie for me is being able to option drag a title to create a new title in the timeline. This will save me lots and lots of time. Glad to see that Adobe is listening. I think I’ve made the right decision switching over to Premiere Pro.

Thanks. I’ll try the consolidate media trick. I tried the export to Premiere Pro a few times but After Effects crashed every time.

I think I may have figured out the issue. When I converted my project file from CS6 to CC, I had about 12 sequences open. Apparent CC didn’t like this. I closed the sequences, except for 1 in CS6 and reopened in CC. Seemed to open fine now. It does seem a lot more responsive. I can play through high res stills now without the computer slowing down.

Tried opening a different project and the same thing. Is it just me or does Premiere Pro CC seem very buggy and sluggish? The same project in CS6 seems very responsive and of course doesn’t crash.

If you go to nvidia support site, look for the k5000 Mac drivers. They work with the gtx680 Mac.

  • I actually had to reinstall 10.4.4 because I was getting a kernel panic when my computer started after installing 10.4.5. I booted into safe mode on my Mac, reinstalled 10.4.4 and it works fine now.

I’ve had time to play with it on my b computer. Seems pretty spunky. I’ll have more time to put it through it’s paces once I finish the job I’m currently on. Didn’t want upgrade software in mid project. I learned my lesson on that one a long time ago.
