That’s how I have it set up. I don’t think it’s Kona related, since it does the same thing with the Kona Disabled.

Thanks. So far Premiere Pro CS6 has been amazing. There are some some annoyances, such as the bubble thing, but I’m sure they’ll work those out. Another annoyance I’ve been experiencing is my audio being silent. I’m getting audio meters but no audio. If I restart Premiere and/or trash the prefs, it always fixes it, but it’s still annoying.

I think I solved the problem. It’s a pretty weird thing though. I had one file in a folder that is corrupt. I took that file out and Premiere recognized all the files. I put the file back in and it got hung up on every file in the folder.

It will install. Runs fairly well. I would suggest the best graphics card you can find such as a 5770 or 5870.

Does anyone have an idea of how to get a hold of MacVid Cards Dave? I own a PC GTX570 that I would be interested in getting flashed to a Mac version. Does anyone have his email? I’ve searched the internet and the only contact I could find was for MacVidCards on ebay.

I stand corrected. Maybe since the 8800 works with older macs it’s 32bit capable.

The Cuda will not work on the Mac1,1 or 2,1 because those computers boot into 32bit kernel mode only. There is a hack to get them to boot into 64bit kernel mode, but it’s a little complex. That is why it will not recognize it. Here is a link to the 64bit hack if you are brave:

I tried it, but it was too unstable for me. When it did work, it was awesome. I ended up taking out the GTX570 and putting the AMD5770 back in and booting normally. If I upgrade to a newer macpro I’ll put the GTX570 back in.
