Can you do this after you have already done the batch capture?

I did not know that there were “issues” with this. I have a problem captureing 720p to KONA2 in that useing ‘clip’ capture with time code, when the clip lands in the bin, FCP has made a sub-clip out of it. The edges of the icon are jagged, and only audio plays (there is no master clip to reference of course). If i delete the clip and import it, it comes in as a real clip and plays fine. I’ve seen this happen on a BM card also. I’ts curous, but on this system, capture ‘now’ seems to work fine, only ‘batch’ or ‘clip’ capture show this problem.
    Thanks for the info.

I have reported a similar problem with HD-SDI. When I capture clips, the reference handle put in the bin will play audio only and blank video in the viewer and on the sequence. I have to delete them from the bin and import them to get them to play properly. Kristian Lam thought it might be because FCP log and capture dosen’t put a .mov file extention on the the file, but I didn’t think Apples cared about file extensions.

That sounds like it might be the problem, but I get audio, just no video.

Has anyone tried the firewire HDV capture and editing?
