:Please excuse if you have seen this on the Black Magic forum.
    Very strange problem.
System = G5 dual 2.2, BlackMagic HD, Huge dirves, ATTO ul4d, new system drive with OSX 4.1, new install of FCP 5
When capturing HD from Panasonic 720P decks, in FCP with any compression setting, the clip in the bin refuses to display video in either viewer window, in sequence window or the output of the card. If I delete the clip from the bin and inport it everything is fine.
    trashed com.apple.RegFinalCutPro.plist and com.apple.RegFinalCutPro.plist
    Same results
    Any ideas?

If you’re doing a Batch Capture or a Clip Capture via HD-SDI with FCP 5.0 the clip in your Bin will be a “subclip” icon with no video or audio. You need to trash that icon and import the actual clip from your harddrives.

Not sure if this was fixed with the FCP 5.0.2 update as I have not tested it yet.

That sounds like it might be the problem, but I get audio, just no video.
