Try putting your objects in a null , objects > null in menu or alt G. Then you should adjust the axis using the object axis tool in the panel on left side. Then just rotate the null.
hope this helps

Not sure what plugin they used to create their transitions but you can create something similar using Card wipe or CC grid wipe in AE. You could also create this quite easily I think in cinema 4d I think using clonners and effectors.
hope that helps.

The issue you are having is that when you precomp your adjustment layer you are taking away what you want to adjust. This is assuming that you made sure move all attributes into the new comp when you made the precomp. What you would need to do to allow it still adjust whats below it is turn on collapse transformations. This however would not solve your problem because the blue will not give you full opacity.
What you can do is in your precomp make a solid and make a ramp from black to white. Then create a blue solid in your main comp and set that solid to luma matte and it will give you a gradient from blue to transparent. There are are other ways to do this with out precomping like using the brush tool set to paint alpha but this way seems the simplest to me and give you more flexibility overall I think.
Hope this helps and my explanation made sense.

You should check out the jobs part of the cow site, if you haven’t already https://jobs.creativecow.net/. That’s where you want to go to look for people and post jobs.

If you can make it look good then yes you can a make a complete set. You can import video into c4d but it would be better to do it in after effects. The integration with c4d and after effects is as good as it gets I think, with the ability to use object buffers to mask things and external composting tag to place things. You also can get c4d lights in ae as well and more.
I don’t see why you couldn’t create a good virtual set. You could do this just in ae using 2.5d which has been done before. There a good break down on creative cow on this I think. Maybe somebody will reply that has made in c4d
Hope this helps.

Another way which he goes over is using Thinking Particles that displaces the mesh using a proximal shader which is a lot less memory intensive then deforming the mesh.

Check out this post, https://twistedpoly.com/blog/?p=411. It explains how to do it through xpresso using the sample node. I tested it on the landscape and it work fine you just need to tune it to how you like
I have had this issue before and could not find a way to do with out some work around until now so thank you for making me look it up again. Thank you.

What you should adjust is the Bézier spline points of you animation path to change the interpolation path. You can find some quick options in key > spline type in the timeline menu.
You can also edit the splines directly by hitting space bar in the timeline and selecting the parameter you want to adjust.
hope this helps

I would say youtube or any other social video site would be the place for funny videos. But you may not be able to use that in your project.
Have you looked at pond5? https://www.pond5.com/stock-video-footage/1/funny.html
