You should be able to double-click the track where the name would be (ie track 1) and it will highlight it and u can type in whatever u want.

My newly replaced PC looks similar to yours and since VP17 and VP18 were giving me so much trouble I built another one recently with much better specs…fresh install of windows 10 and VP18…didn’t help at all.
Sent a ticket into Magix “support” over a week ago and yesterday they sent me a survey asking me to give them a high score…I didn’t give them a high score to say the least.
I hope someone here can help you (and me) by coming up with a fix.

Thanks, I did see that my gpu did have an update…unfortunately I think it was just to accommodate a new game (I’m not a gamer but hope it helps with VP17)

I too have been with Vegas since 3…the forums have always impressed me with the competent, polite ppl ready to help.
At one time when the Sony forum was in it’s prime, one could usually expect a reply within an hour or 2.

So I guess my question is, have any of you ever used a support ticket to get help from a real tech person employed by Magix like Sony used to offer?
I went as deep as I thought I could go and saw a link on how to reinstall but surely that can’t be the extent of magix support.after clicking video pro x I get

After making sure that my browser is not blocking cookies I even added sony as safe but still get
“System error
You have deactivated cookies.
You must activate cookies in your browser to be able to use the MAGIX Service Center.”That said after googling for MAGIX Service Center I got there and logged in…thanks very much all!

It does look fine once rendered but very difficult to edit the 4K clips.
It seems to me setting the project to 4K as you mentioned above might mean the 4K clips won’t studder so bad no?
