Yeah, careful preparation of artwork, meaning QA-ing of all the elements and layers, will save a lot of time, going forward. I know, I’ve ignored this and probably will again, but if I see something in VegasPro I’m almost certain nowadays to know what I’ve done wrong.

  • [Rich Kutnick] “I ask this because even though when I render in Magix Vegas Pro 16 I check to save project markers in rendered video file, in Sony DVD Architect Pro 6 the load markers icon is grayed out! “

Hi Rich. Long time since I’ve done this, but after rendering, can you see the Markers file in the same directory as the MPEG2 and AC Files? Also, if you can, checkout the VP Render folder for a successful VP to DVDA render. Do you see the Markers file?

[Josh Freeman] “How do I fix it?”

Hi Josh. Yeah I’ve had that too. You going to need to go back and check the “artwork”. There’s an edge that you’re going to need to work-flat/feather to make sure that isn’t carried over. I can tell that that line is parallel to the bottom edge of your only angled “IDC” item. Or maybe a bit of Blur, restricted to that line.

[lee tauseef] “So my question is simply this; do higher bitrate videos cause more preview lag?”

Higher Bitrate requires more maths to be done. It’s going to be a trade-off. No simple fix here apart from reducing the Preview quality.
