Engage/check the Sync Cursor box. It’s in the bottom left-hand corner of the Pan/Crop window. This will make both curries follow each other.

Steve: “This is getting to be a broken record…..”

Yeah, I’ve noticed that with people who don’t know. I have to keep repeating the same old stuff. Who’d have thought huh?

Actually, there was no RAM connection being put forward. I didn’t read one?

Mind you that was over an hour ago and my own RAM isn’t what it was.

You already have a Plugin in Vegas. Chroma keying will do this for you. But I’m guessing you’ve already shot it, or “borrowed” it? In which case, your approach is the only one available in Vegas, other than experimenting to see if you CAN create a foreground garbage matte for use with a ChromaKeying session. Do I know of a propriety plug? No. But others may.

You did ask for any help, so, initially, I have to ask, why do you think that the memory message isn’t relevant? Let’s get that out of the way first.

  • John that’s a truly valuable reply. It should be THE text 101 that appears when anybody installs Vegas.

    Nice one!

  • Try this. Yesterday I had an issue vert similar and that that I had the speed of my mouse clicking way over to the maximum. I re set it to 50% and now I can click double click and get response. This may NOT.be your issue, but trying it may just rectify your problem. I can now activate Desktop Icon shortcuts to programs, when before nothing doing!

I’m in the exact same position.

I’ve/I’d thought that I’d thought this through, and came to the conclusion that if I’d ever needed to capture DV tape I’d use the now soon to be redundant PC to do it. I had NOT remembered that I now use one of the ACEDVio ports as an analogue stream out to my JVC CRT 15″ 700 line colour correcting/grading monitor!!!!

This was a very timely post of yours and potentially a life saver too. As the link says, this card still has much work to do.

Very helpful post and a cracking good link too. All I need to do is to withdraw the ACEDVio card from Pc A and insert in Pc B.

    Cheers

  • Sounds like a Factory reset or reinstall maybe needed. Something that DID work and now doesn’t indicates to me a fresh dusted-down Vegas is required.
