Steve, he’s got the FX bypass clicked on. I asked him to start afresh too, but my money is on him using that Compo X, can you see it too?

So, did you install the Disc version and the EITHER “Install-over” OR uninstall and then install?

Have you got GPU acceleration ON? If so, turn it off.

You said you added extra RAM, was that to the same PSU driven PC? What is the Wattage of your PSU now?

No, you don’t need Media Manager. I have it installed and use it all the time.

Yes you’ll need QT if you are rendering to QT.

OK, and kinda more relevant, than installing extra RAM, you downloaded a NEWER update to SV11. Would that be Build700 or 701? Did you install-over OR do an uninstall and then install?

Be good to hear from others on the efficacy of a QUAD making use of 4gb of RAM.

I’m also questioning the 630PSU. In adding more RAM=resistance=power you might be getting to the edge of its abilities.

Sure:

Options >> Quantize To Frames – OFF

PLUS

Options >> Enable Snapping – OFF

This will allow you to override both the SNAP of single frame adjustment and the ability to slip Audio.

NB: Remember to turn back on!

Hah! Just noticed. On your Track4 “Graphics”, you have a Compo-adjust activated. I can see a “X”. Have you applied a “Difference” Compo there?

Odd.

I can see you have by-passed FX-ing in the Preview Pane. And that should have killed any FXs that would give a dark look.

Q1: Is what I am seeing in the Trimmer t you SHOULD being in the Preview?

Q2: I can’t above Track 3. What is on Track 2 and Track 1, at that Cursor position?

Q3: If you start afresh, with a single Event-test, say the one you have there, do you get the same result?

Uncheck Quantise to Frames. This’ll allow you to move the Events at an inter-frame level.
