When I slice a shot and hit delete it deletes the next shot. Can I make the previous shot before the cut to be deleted, instead of the shot after the cursor?
John! Use the Trimmer. It will do exactly what you want. You don’t need a script. You need to appreciate The Mighty Trimmer and release your creativity. 😎

Not understanding completely what you mean by, “older”, open Preferences and click on the Deprecated Tab and select Legacy Titles. If that’s what you mean? 😉
