I had the display on none so I could see it on the computer monitor and the MIRROR option was not there. I put it to AJA KONA 525i and then when I looked at the settings it was there! As usual… a simple little thing.

“In FCP/AudioVideo Settings/AVDevices do you have Mirror on Desktop checked?”

That setting is not there…..? Yes… I have scoured the KONA settings looking for anything that deals with this.

Please explain to me what you mean here. Please… 🙂 I am a one man operation and can’t do everything top notch…. but I try. If I am hearing you right… you are mixing and cutting freaquencies a bit, –which does not let the voice get muddied in the music? Please take a few sentences to teach me this. Thanks… most of what I do is narrated and some has music behind it.

    thanks,

I’m still new to FCP even though I have used it just for DVD preparation and DVDStudio Pro for 2 years. I just never edited that much. But we just moved the Stratosphere out and now here we are. I always had the sequence active by clicking in it… but that was not enough. thanks again.

I tried. In the Send To box everything is grayed out except the Soundtrack Pro Script. I even started Soundtrack but no-go. I wonder if the update will fix this? My boss told me there is one available for FCP so I will get it tonight. Any other ideas?

Well… I could, but that is an extra step. This SHOULD work, but it doesn’t. With 40 half hour programs, I just want to send to Soundtrack and crunch a MP3.

    Hi

A co-worker that does not use FCP that much was grumbling about this and I thought to ask here. I thought that there might be a way that when you apply a fade/dissolve to the video that maybe there was an option for it to fade the audio at the same time. Some apps do this but I don’t use FCP that much except for making color corrections and compressing for DVD Studio Pro.
