Can’t see monitor and LCD?
We have a newly built G5 with AJA Kona LH. We actually have 2 identical systems. My system… will not let me watch the preview window on the computer’s monnitor and on the NTSC monitor (Kona component out) at the same time. My boss says he can see both at the same time. When I can only see it on the NTSC monitor, I have the settings as such: VIEW/VIDEOPLAYBACK/AJA KONA 525i 29.97 8 bit 720×480
The only way I can get it to preview on the computer monitor is to have the above setting set to NONE. What am I missing? I have been through every setting… I think. Should I dump the FCP pref’s?

In FCP/AudioVideo Settings/AVDevices do you have Mirror on Desktop checked?
Did you check your settings in the AJA KONA ControlPanel?

That setting is not there…..? Yes… I have scoured the KONA settings looking for anything that deals with this.

I had the display on none so I could see it on the computer monitor and the MIRROR option was not there. I put it to AJA KONA 525i and then when I looked at the settings it was there! As usual… a simple little thing.
