    You mean Continues Rasterize button? Tried that. No difference.

    Turns out the Lines are there, but WAYYY offset from the control points.

    You can see the red lines way off the screen.

    I am in touch with Maxon… they seem baffled as well.

    Thanks Michael

    This certainly works for keeping things connected. Unfortunately, I am trying to kind of do the reverse. My objects control the position of the spline end in Global position. When I introduce the deformer, I lose the connection. Not sure if it is possible to have control over both this way.

    I’d like to have control over the plugs so I can animate them plugging in to the female jacks. But I would like to be able to also bend a stretch animate the coil so it looks realistic.

    I have tried a bunch of different approaches. I am wondering if the Matrix abject in a cloner might do it.

    I have attached a jpg of my rig and the problem.

    Thanks for the reply

    The CC form seemed to be geared more towards a general position as 3D Artist than specific needs. I have a very specific rigging job that should only take a qualified person a few hours to complete. I want to post the parameters of the job along with some screen shots of what I am looking for. Maybe post the budget or hourly.

    Thanks

    Sorry for bugging you again… I think I am a little confused about

    if(Line1)1666.5

    If the checkbox for the Line 1 variable is unchecked, it would be false.

    Wouldn’t the above line then interpret that an unchecked box would result in 1666.5?

    Essentially…

    if(effect(“Single Line Position”)(“Checkbox”)==false)1666.5

    Or does a false value simply ignore the statement?

    A question….

    Does the code: Line1 = effect(“Single Line Position”)(“Checkbox”).value;

    Assume the .value is true? Is that a default for a boolean .value?

    If not, don’t know how the further code : if(Line1)1666.5: knows that the box is checked.

    I know other codes have default assumptions.

    Thanks again for the help.

    You are Da Man.

    Thanks. No matter how many tutorials I do, there is always something that escapes me.

    Thanks Dan… at least I don’t have to beat my head against the wall trying to figure it out.

    Opacity it is!
