Unfotunately I have no way to post at the moment. From what I’ve read these images are actually created using 3 (sometimes more) Gray Scale images that are then combined.

Those three separate images supposedly relate to RGB channels. However, I’ve only been able to find the composite photos and not the separated Grayscales.

If you’re interested do a Google image search with LANDSAT MOSAIC.

The picts that are sort of a mix of Purplish Red and brilliant green are what these things look like.

Still no change… Tried the copy & paste approach.

I have taken to using the Black Matte Workaround that someone suggested in one of the posts. But it is just a pain. And Apple doesn’t seem to have any answers.

Thanks for the info Jeremy. I am loathe to upgrade to v6 after reading many of the posts. Until I upgrade to an intel I think I want to stay with 5.1.

I actually figured that out after posting the question.

The thing that was confusing me is that with 4:3 you are squeezing the vertical number but with 16:9 you are squeezing the Horizontal.

I’m sure as soon as I hit the post button I’ll figure out why but I would still appreciate your insight.
