The Rig is the ultimate for the job and not the problem. Some of the clips are corrupt. Try and isolate the problem area by rendering small parts.

The SVHS and the composite output works by analog on the Intensity card and Intensity Extreme or thunderbolt works with everything. You have to get a sony mini cable like the headphone plugs and look for 1 mini to 3 rca cables. Usually ships with the camera.

As a common rule just use the mid-range to high-end ASUS boards. Let say Blackmagic support only ASUS and that is my personal view and a found out the hard way. I had a Gigabit board which did not work, A MSI also failed but the $120. oo worked good. My latest rig is a 960 on a Blazing Rampage Extreme 2 mobo (C$205.00) Great Audio, with 24gb RAM and had no problem with any driver.

This usually happens when you use too many external drives. They come and go at random messing up the numbering system. Temporary numbering confusion.

If you do not have time to create in AE of Photoshop then buy templates from Digital Juice or footage firm. But PPro lower thirds are more than enough and all you do is to modify them.

  • It is possible but you need multiple software. I capture two stream with Firewire and Intensity, using Premiere 5 and 5.5 Captured to two separate normal drives. Always start with the Intensity first

Sorry I was busy and did not check the mails. You have to select “include legacy” before the old file show and get the intensity from there. Also check archived drivers
This is the link and it is working for me good. Copy and paste in the browser. The video 8 driver is loaded with lots of junk that Intensity never use. Bundling them all was a bad idea

I had the same problems after changing to video8 drivers. I am now using 3.94 on all my systems and will not change the drivers anytime soon

If you are ready to get a new card for your system then spending about 300.00 to make the system complete is a viable option. Get an old Mobo like ASUS P5Q; P5K, P5E and are good and cheaper too.
