Try intel as AMD and Black Magic gives headaches, ASUS Intel works great with Intensity Pro.

  • Your computer is way down the ladder. Too low even for any video at all. Somrthing like this will do
    Intel Quad Core i7

Just leave the older versions for a month or two as it does not use much space. Make sure the 5.5 is stable and reliable as these programs give problems at their early stages.

After installing the video8, I got all the Black Magic Products installed too. But I don’t have the hardware installed to use them. Like live key; Multibridge Utility and others. How do I remove them or install Intensity alone

    Hello Paola and Zelin
Thanks a lot for your advice. I got the Ci7-970 with 16gb in an ASUS board and will order the Decklink Studio 2. But I can not find that card. Is it the DeckLink Studio – $695 or DeckLink Duo – $495

    Thanks again

I am at the moment using Intensity Pro on Five(5) Workstations doing everything video job worth doing. Sometimes the job takes longer and crashes but not bad. I am upgrading from Quad 9550 to Core i7 975 and want to try the high end or mid range cards. I want to know the advantages in using the high end cards. Do you get a higher quality, faster rendering and smooth playback without drop frames
Mercury Playback is cool but very limited in handling graphics and I rely more on the Intensity for my playback to BetacamSp

From all these comments it looks like the future does not look great for Premiere Pro Production Premium CS5.5. They did not even bother any of the suggestions on the suggestions page.
How many things were taken out, we will eventually know.

CS5 64bt editing is the best. Faster, Smoother, safer with less to zero crashes, but you have to use it alongside 3 & 4 to get the best.
