You could always render out your footage with the Neat filter applied to a new clip and THEN put it in your multicam.

If you read their notes, you MUST apply the filter to clips in your timeline. I know it would be easier to do it in the multicam angle editor (tried it myself and had the same issues) but not yet.

It will show up in FCPX in the transitions if you PUT it there. It is only been constructed with Motion. Read his instructions carefully.

You could create a synchronized clip from the same sources then add that synchronized clip into a new lane in your multicam, then sync it to one of your clips and make that your sole audio source in your multicam. You can then adjust levels inside the synchronized clip.

I make a synchronized clip with all my audio sources and add it to a new lane in the multicam and then sync it to one of the cameras. Then I can do any audio adjustments to the synchronized clip and use that as my sole audio source in the multicam clip.

Are you aware of the icons in the viewer window upper left corner to choose whether you want to switch video and audio, just video or just audio? I would first select what audio source you want to use with the “audio only” option, then select “video only” and start cutting picture only. Works fine for me.
