You should have no compatabilty problems from one cmacorder to the next providing that you do not shoot in LP mode.

Color Curves is a very versatile tool. You can get different contrast looks with the default RGB all together, or you can effect R,G,B separatley for different color emphasis (or de-emphasis). If you REALLY want to accentuate one color range, then Secondary Color Corrector is the tool for you.

One thing that I did not discover right away is that the transport buttons give you different behaviours when holding them down as opposed to a quick press.

Sony doesn’t pre-announce the release dates of their new software , so it’s hard to say when it’s going to be released before the actual release.

Open the Vegas external capture via File> Capture Video > Print to Tape (third tab).
You can print a file or group of files from there.

Make sure that the frame size of your generated media is the same as your project. For instance, if you are working with NTSC DV it would be 720 x 480.
