Start with Menu Page one. Right-click on it and select Insert Submenu Name the link something like Clip Selection.
Double-click on the link and then onto the new page, drag all your 25 clips.
Is that getting you where you want to go?

Not sure what you are asking, but if you change only the audio for a DV avi file then create a new avi, the new audio will be used and the video portion will be copied, but not affected in any way.

Unfortunatley, the saved FX chains do not show up in the tabbed window. You can copy and paste attributes from a reference event, though. Also you could set up a track with the FX chain applied and place all the events you want to affect on that track.

It’s a double-click that creates a chapter point. Perhaps you need to adjust the mouse behavior in Windows Contrtol Panel so it differentiates better bewteen single and double clicks.

I shoud have said to first “create a menu button for EACH of your 25 clips”, which you do by dragging the media onto the menu.

I have already explained how to link them with end actions. Is that not working for you?

It creates vob files on a DVD and you should be able to import via File>Import>Camcorder Disc.

[Lance Bachelder] “Silly to not be using the latest version, it’s just better – same for all you Vegas 4 and 5 users.”
People have their reasons not to have the latest version, including economic ones. While it’s certainly desirable to always have the latest gear and suggest that others follow, it is unfair to call their personal purchase decisions silly.

This is a lot easlier in DVDA 3 with a Playlist, but here goes the directions for DVDA 2:
After you’ve created a menu system with a button for your 25 clips, drag those same 25 onto the project overview and rename them. Create a button for the first one (that will be the Play All button).
For each of the renamed 25 clips (except the last), double-click, then in Media Properties, change the end action to be a link to the next clip.

You can do it with a screen capture program such as Camtasia (has a free trial).
