Make sure you are working with Quantize to Frames turned on and nudge your events to make sure they wind up on proper frame boundaries.

I suggest making a time selection, then checking off ‘render loop region’ during the render setup.

OK, gotcha.

The media generated text is not saved as a separate file. What you CAN do is save the .veg (or create a separate one), and when you open it on the other computer, you can copy and paste from that project to another.

You can either set up a newtwork or use a flash drive, external hard drive, etc.

As long as you have all your project media available, you’ll be fine.
No need to overwrite your previous .veg file. You should be saving incremental versions as you work anyway.

Also, it’s not a good idea to keep your only .veg files on the same drive with your media. If your drive fails, you’ve got nothing.

How big an area do you have to cover?

If it’s small,put the same media on the track below, then cut out the section with the cookie cutter using a soft edge on the original track. Shift the copy below using track motion by a few pixels so that the hole is now filled with the adjoining area.
