    Save the FX Chain using the Plug-In Chooser (where you add the FX from) using Save As. You will then be able to add that combination of FX, with their settings, in one step.

    Using heat at all is asking for trouble because it can cause sections of the tape to deform.

    You can have up to 99 chapters. The markers numbers do not come into play.

    Are you saying that the edit is spread over different projects?
    Just create a master project and bring the segments in as nested veg files, then apply the letterbox mask on each veg’s pan/crop control or apply on a track above as a mask.

    If you are going to use the laptop a lot for editing, I would recommend that you get a widescreen version. I have a Gate way 17″ Widescreen that I am very happy with.

    The cetner button on your menu has got a HUGE button size defined. That’s why the whole menu looks highlighted. You can’t see the handles for the box, so with the sizing tool selected, click in the center and drag up until you can get to the handles.
