I just went to work today and found the stock battery fully uncharged and I did not have it mounted on the camera sibce Friday. And I left worked with the battery fully charged. This is really not looking good. Do we have to always take the time now to charge a battery two hours before every shoot? Sometimes a shoot happens in a spur of a moment. Anyone else seeing this happen? Plus my stock battery has a date from over a year ago, but charge cycles were showing six when I looked the other day at the menu info. Can Sony be selling old batteries and change the charge cycle data it shows? What a bummer.

    Hi Jeff,

Thanx for the info. I will give it a try. I guess I could also try to get a small LCd TV monitor with component or composites inputs and plug the cam outs into it. Set it up next to the monitor where the operator running the prompter text sits. I was trying to make it work with what we have on hand and use that real estate on the 30″ ACD.

I have a system with 2GB ram using matched pairs. I can add another set of 1GB matched pair (2GB) to get 4GB total or I can add another set of matched pair 2GB (4GB) to get 6GB total.
