all plasma (Not LCD) TV’s show video 2 frames out of sync with audio.
Most cameras (pro and non-pro) record video 2 frames separate than audio.
Most DVCPROHD users did not ever notice until P2 came out, if you search here on the Cow you will find hundreds of posts on this subject.“Are you familiar with any possibility of setting up a delay for the video-signal ? “
The IoXpress does not allow for audio slewing- you would need to do that in FCP or via an external piece of hardware.gary adcock

That’s your decision, IoHD offers more options but requires being tethered to a laptop.
“We have Anton Bauer adapters for all our equipment. I assume we can get something for the ioHD or KiPro”
For the KiPro YES,
With the IoHD, a power inverter would be needed as it only runs on AC power.gary adcock

yup.
The truncation commented on in the manual quote is more pronounced in HDSDI where the RGB is limited to 8 bit in a single HDSDI feed, since HDMI was designed with output displays in mind it usually defaults or converts to RGB < see HP Dreamcolor display>
I tested with
Arri D21 > 4:4:4 RGB Dual Link HDSDI > Hi53G as RGB HDMI > to RGB 4:2:2 10bit on the KiPro.The real question is what are you trying to capture as RGB? and why does it need to be over HDSDI
Video in Y’Cr’Cb not RGB.
Animation is RGB.My guess is you are doing something that is going to run into HDCP issues.

did you try resetting the Prefs to allow for scrubbing?

A Note About RGB—Although RGB is used less in today’s video systems, Ki Pro
supports it at both input and output. Because Ki Pro’s (and SMPTE SDI) native
format is YPbPr, AJA recommends the use of YPbPr whenever possible. Although
component video monitors often have RGB inputs, it’s better to use YPbPr when
the monitor supports it. The YPbPr format provides “headroom” for “superwhite”
and “superblack”—and these video levels will be clipped when transcoding to RGB.
Also, the RGB/YPbPr transcoding involves a level translation that results in

Why? When using the Easy Setup there should be no need to set the control panel match to the seq settings.
You use the Kona Control to set the downconvert on the component to SD output.
Since Red footage is true P by default ( not PsF) – where and how did you convert it to interlace?
Explain what you mean by flicker? (phasing of the luma or an odd field order)

Can I ask what you are viewing the footage on?? The diagonal lines you mention readily occur inside of your Plasma/ LCD when a low quality upconversion is used to poorly to fit the 525 line SD image to fill your massive 1080 HD display.
are you showing the image full image – or is the display converting the signal in Zoom mode ( the default on many of the Sony and LG displays) where any non-hd image is scaled to fit the screen, and is the major cause of the lines and the “ringing” of fine detail like type or in circular lines.

“OK Lets be very clear here you said 2K at 2048pixels and variants x1080, x1152, x1566 –
working at that frame size eliminates all but the Kona 3 card, since that is the only card that AJA makes that supports the various 2K sizes in realtime.
If you are only talking about 1920×1080 output- then the lowest cost option for viewing would be the IoExpress for about $1000 USD, followed by the LHE,LHI and the lastly the highend Kona 3 card.
