Autosaved files make a cycle. So if you set 5 Autosaved proyects in the preferences window, autosave #6 will overwrite the #1 and so on.

Using the audio mixer you change the Track levels, and this affects to all clip in this track. Changing individual Clip levels must be done in the volume effect in the control effects pannel or in the timeline using the clip´s yellow line. You can also change gain levels on individual clips right clicking them in the timeline and choosing Audio Gain.

You can jump to previous or next keyframe clicking in white little arrows on both sides of the Create keyframe button (in effects control pannel or in the timeline).
Also, you can navigate to previous or next keyframe in the Effects control pannel timeline by dragging the playhead while pressing the Shift key.

I think 512 gb SSD would be ok as media cache files are not as big as original files. Only have in mind cleaning media cache files when you have finished a proyect which will no longer be used. Assuming that you have a 1x4Tb external drive for backups, in my oppinion Setup 2 will work better as with this setup you have dedicated drives for exports, previews, proyects, media, and OS and programs, so when a drive is reading, other drive is writting. Not reading from and writting on the same drive will make the system work faster.

In my oppinion the setup 2 is the correct, except for the SSD.
Having it for media cache instead of OS and programs will increase performance as Premiere uses media cache files in a normal workflow. The only thing you´ll notice having an SSD for OS and programs is a very quick boot. So i think is worth it using this drive better for reading media cache files.

I don´t really know what the problem could be with the audio of your mp4 videos, it´s supposed to be AAC, which is compatible with Premiere, check it with Mediainfo.
You can make a new sequence fitting your footage settings by dragging one mp4 from the Proyect pannel to the “new element” icon in the lower right of the proyect pannel, so premiere perhaps interprete your footage in a better way.
If this doesn´t work, why don´t you replace the mp4 files audio with the .mp3 files in the timeline? Just Alt+click in the audio track of one clip in the timeline, delete it, drag and drop the .mp3 to the same audio track, sync it with the video track, select both the video and the mp3 audio, right click and choose “link” so the new mp3 audio will be parented to the video track.

I´ve been fighting for almost a week with similar problem. Ii was something like if vertical sync of monitor was not working fine. Horizontal lines going down-up as if the image was showing half of one frame and half of the next. It happened basically in most shots with quick movements or flashing lights.

Well, in my case, i had the aero themes in W7 disabled since i installed W7 for the first time, just to have more visual performance. I set a grey desktop with all aero options disabled.
When this annoying issue began to bother me a lot, i started changing update frecuencies of monitor, playing around with all the screen options in W7, set my monitors to the defaults, downgraded to older nvidia drivers, and played with all the nvidia control pannel options finding no solution at all. Annoying issue. It happened even in VLC player, but not in Window media player.

At the end, i solved it SETTING AN AERO THEME in my W7! Disabling visual effects for better performance was more harmful than helpul.
Now the problem has totally gone. Have a try to see if it helps you.
