Why can’t I add audio tracks to Audio1-Audio4?
Posted by Sum Choi on December 22, 2012 at 8:46 pmI’m completely new to Adobe Premiere. Can anybody tell me why I can’t drag add audio clips to Audio1-Audio4? I am coming from FCP7 and when I try to drag A1 to Audio1-Audio4, nothing happens.
Thanks

December 23, 2012 at 11:34 amIn CS6 you can drop mono and stereo in the same track.
Can you drop audio in track 5.
Or can’t you drop audio at all or just these kind of files.
Be more specific.
What kind of audio are these files?———————————————–

December 23, 2012 at 6:17 pmAudio tracks by default are usually 48k, so if for instance you have an audio clip at 44k, it won’t drop into a 48k track. Drag clip from bin down to very bottom of sequence and it will create a new audio track to match your clip. If you want to clean up the work area and get rid of empty audio tracks, right-click on left area of audio track, choose “Delete Tracks” and then “Delete empty tracks”
