March 14, 2013 at 12:41 pm in reply to: best way to scale video action but retain consistent backgroundYou can mask the subject with a luma key and add the background you want. Then you can also nest the sequence into another one, so all the videotracks will be only one now, and apply a Disolve transition to the end

February 26, 2013 at 10:49 pm in reply to: How do I export .MOV 1920×1080 HD with MONO audio in CS5?I didn´t notice that you are with CS5. There´s no preset for HD in quicktime format, but anyway you can still select Quicktime, then go to the Video tab and set dimensions manually to 1920×1080 after selecting H264 codec in the same tab. Select the correct pixel aspect ratio, frame rate and bit rate, etc… Then in Audio tab you can still select Channel->Mono

Don´t check Match sequence settings, as this will probably be using the MJPEG codec, instead choose Format->Quicktime
Preset->HD 1080i 25 or 29,97 (PAL or NTSC)
Check->Export Video and Export AudioIn the Video tab below, select Codec->H264, set bit rate at your desire, choose No field for progressive scan or whatever setting you want.
In the Audio tab beside leave the AAC codec and below select Channel->Mono.
That´s it.

Making a ram preview in AE should play the dynamic linked comp preview in PPro with no problem. If not, try selecting Sequence->render all effects (Note: this is a different function than the “render work area” keyboard shortcut of the Enter key)

Try this, the Roll transition is included in the free pack

Although Angelo´s advice is good for working only with Premiere, i would send the audio clips to Adobe Audition through Dynamic Link, it has better tools to work with audio than Premiere and with Dynamic Link the workflow is really fast and efficient.

February 9, 2013 at 2:01 pm in reply to: Dropping Frames in Premiere CS6…driving me insane…In addition to all that´s said, your yellow lines mean that the footage could play fine, but there could happen this lags in previews unless you render all the work area. Go to Sequence->render all timeline, because if you´re rendering it with the Enter shortcut, Premiere is not rendering the entire work area, only effects.

As Tero said, your machine is not fast enough for a simple SD multicam edit, forget editing HD footage, and having more RAM won´t fix the problem. The only thing you can do is work with proxies. Use Prelude to reencode all the footage in lower res and after making the multicam edit relink all the footage to the hd files to make your export.

Ensure that you check all the sequences of the proyect in the Proyect Manager options, perhaps it´s only copying the assets of only one selected sequence.
