    Hi all,
We’re on CS6 at the moment, although I came across the same thing in 5.5.

    I’ve created a project with 1 sequence.
My project is setup similar to the folder setup. For example, my project looks something like this:

    Sequence
    B-Roll Bin
    — broll1.mov
    — broll2.mov
    — broll3.mov
    Audio Bin
    — audio1.wav
    — audio2.wav
    — audio3.wav
    etc..

My folder is setup the same way and all files are linked correctly. I don’t have any unused files (I’m pretty anal about keeping the project file clean).

Anyway, I decided to try the project manager, because a few people have somewhat messy files with many unused assets in the library.

When I tried it on my own project file, to “collect files and copy to new location” with “exclude unused clips” checked…the resulting folder is actually missing about 50% of the assets. It doesn’t actually seem to copy all the used files. In my case, I had NO unused files, but checked it anyway. By doing so, 1/2 of my assets are not copied to the new location. Similarly, if I leave the option unchecked, the resulting folder is still missing a few clips.

Why is this? The same thing happens when I try to “Create new trimmed project”.

Additionally, the Titles created in premiere don’t show up in the resulting PROJ file. They show up in the sequence, but not in the project library.

    Any ideas? I’m lost.

    Thanks!

Yes, but only 1 dynamic link to an AE project, which I am aware will not be including in the “consolidation” of files.

Could that 1 dynamic link throw everything out of whack?

Ensure that you check all the sequences of the proyect in the Proyect Manager options, perhaps it´s only copying the assets of only one selected sequence.
