Or you could use soft like Quickeys: it records all your actions no matter what program you’re in, and allows you to play them back, (activated by hotkey, popupmenu, etc).

    Hy,

I usually go for the quicktime-solution too, and it should work like a charm.
Just to be sure: is your videoquality set at max in the avidsoftware (that little green/green-yellow/yellow box at te bottom of your timeline)?

    Great, it was mp3 indeed.

    Thanks for the tip guys!

  • In case you get the media-offline-message in xpress, instead of having to relink, it may be enough to open up the media-tool, select the right disk and project, while having your bins open. The media should show up.

    – create your title,
    – put it on the timeline,
    – step in to the effect,
    – replace layer 2 with your videomaterial,
    – step out, hit play – voila.

  • Thanks for the quick replies,

    It’s a PC-based ComposerAdrenaline 2.0.3,
    and it’s a video-project.

I’m also assuming that the problem would be on the Heavyworks-side, but i believe that it used to work fine on older Avids, i’ll give that a try to make sure.

The only working method so far is sending it trough digitranslator to protools and back to OMF – export in to the Avid, but then we loose all of our fades.
