Changing keyboard shortcuts
Is there a way to change the default keyboard-shortcuts?
Since a notebook doesn’t have all the necessary keys, it would make life a little easier. -

You can manually edit the keyboard shortcuts file.
On Windows, find it here:
C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data\Adobe\After Effects\7.0\Adobe After Effects 7.0 Shortcuts.txtOn Mac, find it here:
Hard Drive/Users/[username]/Library/Preferences/Adobe/After Effects/7.0/Adobe After Effects 7.0 ShortcutsSimilar locations (rewind to the Prefs folder on Mac) for 6.5 and earlier versions.

Also, don’t forget about the special Function key most laptops have (pretty much every laptop as far as I know), labelled as Fn. This gives you all the keys that are on a regular keyboard (numeric keypad, etc)
