I’m transitioning to Premiere Pro from Avid. In Avid I can save and recall many different timeline/track height configurations. Is there a way to do this in Premiere Pro?

June 11, 2014 at 4:20 pm in reply to: GarageBand export key change upone import into Media Composer 7I figured out the problem. I run audio output from the media composer through an MBox Mini. The problem is the mbox mini not liking the project sample rate.

Thanks for the replies. For now I’m just going to manually keyframe as Richard suggests. I’ve done this type of keyframe tracking many many times but for some reasaon getting the logo to line up against this animation is unusually difficult.
Thanks again.

October 12, 2012 at 9:26 pm in reply to: P2 recorded clips divided into segments automaticallySorry bring up an old thread but I recently had the same problem as Gene did. It surprised because it has neve happened before.
I checked out Gene’s suggestion on the PreRec option being turned on but it was not. So, Gene, just wondering if you’d had the problem again? I really want to figure out what went wrong here.

Thanks for posting the blog. As I mentioned earlier in the thread, I guess I need to find a nice Premiere Pro for AVID/FCP editors tutorial. Do you know if there is one out there, basically that just demonstrated the major differences in timeline navigation?I did search the CS 5.5 Help menu for suggestions on this issue I was having with exporting segments from a timeline. Unfortunately my search query didn’t give me the answer I needed. Perhaps I didn’t put in the correct keywords. Anyway, glad that Creative Cow exists and the there is always someone willing to lend a helping hand.

Thanks much. That seems to be a somewhat more efficient workflow. Still wish I could just mark IN and OUT and be done with it. Guess I need to find a good tutorial on basic Premiere Pro workflow and give myself a little time to get used to the software.Frank
