Looks like you may have a conflict with the VP versions and your NewBlue plug-ins. I had similar problems with mine and your best bet is to contact Edward Troxel at NewBlue. He always comes up with solutions or options and he replies really fast. I suggest you send him a detailed e-mail from the NewBlue web site.

Hi Mandy

The files need to be ”linked”. For this, Canon has a utility that does just that. You will still have separate files but linked together. I’m almost sure it will work for you even if you are not working with an XF series camera. Happy shooting !.

Just for troubleshooting purposes, if you do not have access to another NLE, try using DaVinci Resolve 12.5 (it’s free) and see if that works. Please get back to me with the results.

I am going to assume that you are using a PC.

The key to using GoPro files is to properly prepare them before use in an NLE.

Have you tried this for prep ?

Instead of double clicking on the .VEG file or starting it from the Vegas file dropdown menu, open the folder where the .VEG file is located and drag it in the Vegas time line window.

Sometimes, the .VEG file location get screwed up…
