    Hi Suhaib

Try upgrading to latest version (189). It may solve your problem.

    Cheers !

  • Hi David

This is the e-mail you should have received from Magix (Ya, mine was in French but still, it would look the same in English) And for obvious reasons, the numbers are blank out but the last line is for the Titler Pro and Looks Try re-installing from your original Magix e-mail and if you have any problems, Edward from support at NewBlue will get you on your way promptly.

Any other bundled version (V11, V12, V13) will have a watermark.

    Cheers !

  • Open Event Viewer (in order to access the error logs, and check for any critical errors)…Start | Run | Type eventvwr.msc and click OK | Highlight “Application” and “System” independently in the LH pane | Right click a couple of the newest crtical errors you’ve received (critical errors are in Red), and select “Properties”

It should help you find, or at least point where the problem is.

    Hope it helps

    Hi Jeff

First, make sure it’s not because your system is infected. That particular file is often targeted by a virus that prevents .exe files from running.

If everything checks out, try running the installer as Administrator.

Knowing your system specs would help.

    Cheers !

Video cameras are notorious for crappy audio. God knows why, they keep using sub-par preamps in their audio circuit design. All efforts at improving cameras are directed towards the video end of things. As a rule, I only use the on board audio as a backup and for cuing purposes. I personally use a Tascam DR-70D. I get way better quality and versatility. You don’t have to get that precise model. For the type of work I do, the 4 XLR inputs are nice to have. There are many different models available out there. Read up on them from the users. I am sure you will find a model that will suit your needs.

If you can live with a somewhat almost OK sound, stick with the camera’s audio option.

    Hi Graham

I haven’t used and/or added any scripts. The only ones present are what comes pre-packaged with MVP 14.

I have to say that I am having a lot of problems with MVP 14. I have a couple of slow days coming up and I will be running as many scenarios as I can and send the findings to Magix. Hopefully, it will help them come up with solutions.

But in the meantime, I will stick to SVP 12.

Thank you for your time !

    F.

    Thanks for the reply guys.

I am running MVP 14 but I did re-install SVP 12 because MVP 14 was way to buggy. I am running V 14 once in a while thru different routine to see what I can do with it without it crashing. SVP 12 is way more reliable in order for me to meet deadlines.

Steve: In your opinion, the fact that I am running both could be a problem ? In the past, I was able to run different versions of SVP without any problems and that goes back to when I started with Vegas 3.

Graham: Could you elaborate on altered/changed assets ?

    Thanks !
