We need a lot more information about the DVD first mate. Details, details! Is the DVD authored is it quicktime/video files on a DVD? If your talking about DVD authored material (Video_TS files) then there are a few programs that will do it. DVDSP is not going to help you get material off a DVD its for DVD creation.

If its a file that you made, check your audio settings, mainly that its set to LCM I think is the one you want.

Use the padlock to lock say A1 then single click to highlight and then press the backspace key.

The only drive I have ever used is Lacie. Had a 250gb which is 5 years old (the one designed by porshe, yea made me laugh too) And now on a D2 1TB. Any time any one asks me for external drive advice, the answer is always Lacie, Lacie, Lacie.

One thing I would say though is avoid Western Digital like the plague.

Thanks again to you all for your replies. True to form client has changed his mind and now hates my camera movement and that the animation finishes with the camera looking at the logo at an angle.

Sadly the speaker is in front of the projection for all of the presentation. I dont think it would be worth it I think we will have to just apologies and be thankful that at least the camera op got his act together and changed back to 50i after the morning session (two 3 hour presentations shot at 25p).

I was afraid that might be the answer. Sadly it was a combination of two camera ops, one who was not sure what setting it should be on, so he asked the other what setting should it be on. This is sounding more and more like a bad joke…

Basically one cam op said to the other it does not matter what setting you have it on. I know its enough to make you want to find a corner to cry in.

I can tell you that what your describing is not normal behavior, all I can suggest is you trash your preferences and see if that sorts it. Google and you will find plenty of tutorials.

WooHoo I gave an answer that was useful, I’m gonna sleep well tonight.

Mostly I just click stuff and see what happens, its only software you can break it. Even if you do you can just reinstall it.
