Hi Kevin,
The animation is only 10 seconds long and at uncompressed it comes out a under 500 mb i dont have any trouble playing uncompressed files normally. FCP exports for example play fine. Is there anything else it could be?
If i went out at dv 25fps into final cut then as this is most likely for web go to flash or mpeg how bad will the DV compression be given that it was already DV in the first place going to dv again from AE then to whatever after is going to result in lots of pixels?

Cheers for your advice, much appreciated. I will stick with the DSR, better safe than sorry!
Annoyingly the rental place does not have insurance so I need to take it out separately. Of course VAT is a killer too.
