Unfortunately that is not possible as the client has very specific specs laid out to be able to use the video in their intranet. x264, 560×315, 300kBit/sec (Audio and Video combined), streaming enabled

  • Did you possibly use Compound Clips? You know that Compound Clips behave differently in 10.0.6 than they did before. So if there is a compound clip used in both projects they will stay “in sync”.

Thanks for the advice. I would love to have Resolve as a Plugin 🙂

Thanks for the tip! It now works. For some crazy reason I thought I did exactly what you said before and it didn’t work. Very strange, but happy I can use Resolve with the panel again.

I installed Resolve 9 Beta 2 yesterday and I do have the same problem with that version. I hope it will be fixed for the final release.

I did update the CUDA drivers, but switching off the automatic GFX card selection did it for me. I was not used to that because on my former 2008 MBP I had to switch manually and of course I never used the onboard-card 🙂

I am too chicken to upgrade my production machine to 10.8.0 although I don’t see any problems on my notebook, where I do the testing. I’ll wait for 10.8.1 or until Blackmagic fixes R9 for 10.7.4 Meanwhile I use Resolve 8.2.2 and am a happy camper.

I downgraded to 8.2.2 for the moment, because I got to get a job out the door. Will resume playing with 9, soon.

The source is 1080p ProResHQ most of the shots are from a C300 recorded on an Atomos Samurai and some shots are from a GoPro, but converted to ProRes for editing.

I get about 18fps, which is what I got in Resolve 8 with a comparable count of nodes on the same GFX card.
